New Installation Checklist

This checklist can help you prepare your system for the installation of MedicalDirector Clinical and/or Pracsoft.

  • Do your computers meet MedicalDirector's system requirements for running Clinical and/or Pracsoft?
  • Do you have the registration key for new users of Clinical and/or Pracsoft? If not, contact Sales on 1300 300 161 for a new registration key.
  • Have you identified a suitable location on your computer for the installation? The hard drive must have enough free space for your data plus the necessary free space.
  • Do you have adequate Windows Administrator privileges to perform backups and installations on your system?
  • Are you installing to the default C:\Program Files\Health Communication Network path? MedicalDirector recommends that you install to this default location unless someone in your organisation understands the implications of non-standard installations,. This can save valuable time in your practice if you need to contact MedicalDirector Customer Service.
