Installing Updates Automatically with Windows Scheduler

A Windows Schedule configured to run updates will only run if:

• It is scheduled for a Windows Administrator user.
• You use the /fullautomatic switch to avoid the user prompts that the /automatic switch expects.

Installation will fail if these n criteria are not met. This is because the installer presents a user interface that requires a desktop for display. If there is user no logged in, then there is no desktop on which the user interface can be displayed, so it can't run.
