Starting Clinical

Start Clinical as you would any other Microsoft Windows application.

Procedure

  1. Either:
    • Double-click Clinical iconClinical on your desktop.
    • Select Start > Programs > Health Communication Network > Medical Director > Medical Director.
  2. When Clinical opens you will be prompted with the End User Licence Agreement.
  3. The first time you start Clinical, the program will need to create indexes for the drug and data files. After indexing is performed, a window appears containing legal information such as copyright and disclaimer. To continue with Clinical you must click the I Understand button. By clicking this button you have indicated that you have read and understood the information presented in this window.
  4. You are now prompted to log on.

Results

A sample database is provided for you to view example patient data. To access the sample database select the 'MD Sample Data' database when logging in. The password to access the sample database is 'PASSWORD'.
