- Before You Begin Using Clinical
- Logging On - Logging Off
  You are prompted to log on automatically when you start MedicalDirector Clinical.
- Starting Clinical
  Start Clinical as you would any other Microsoft Windows application.
- Clinical Window
  Record clinical information in the Clinical window.
- Visit Timer
  The Visit Timer is activated automatically when you open a patient's record.
  - Hide Visit Timer
    If a timer is not required for consultations, you can hide or deactivate it.

Before you begin

Procedure

To disable or hide the visit timer:

Select Tools > Options from the Clinical front screen.
On the Progress Notes tab:
- To deactivate the Visit Timer, deselect Record Consultation Time.
- To hide the Visit Timer, set Hide Consultation Timer.
