Creating and Editing Letters

Letters are created and edited with the Letter Writer.

Before you begin

Procedure

To write a letter:
  1. Open the Letter Writer by either:
  2. Within Letter Writer, to create a new letter either:
    • Click New iconNew on the tool bar, or
    • Select File > New
    • Press CTRL+N



  3. In the New window, double-click the template you want to base the new letter. If you can't see the template you want to use, in the Search Templates field, enter its name.
    To create a new template, select Blank Template.

Results

A blank letter using the template you selected is displayed in the Letter Writer window.
