A recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record to inform practitioners or practice staff of when a patient is due to return to the practice, usually so that some clinical procedure can be performed.

Deleting Recall Reasons

Delete recall reasons that are not used.

Before you begin

Use this method with caution. For more information, see Removing Unwanted Recall Reasons.

Procedure

Select Tools > Options. MedicalDirector Options appears.
Select the Recall tab. The list of recall reasons is presented.
Locate and select the Recall reason you wish to delete.
Click Delete You will be prompted to confirm this action.
Click Yes to confirm.

Results

You will be returned to the Recall tab.
