A recall is a type of flag recorded against a patient's record to inform practitioners or practice staff of when a patient is due to return to the practice, usually so that some clinical procedure can be performed.

Deleting Recalls

Delete recalls from a patient's record.

Before you begin

Deleted recalls are not removed from the patient's record, but are hidden from view.

You cannot delete a recall that has been completed.

Procedure

To delete a recall:

In the patient's record, select Clinical > Recall.
In the Recall Items window, select the Recall you want to delete.
Click Delete and confirm this action.

Results

The deleted recall is hidden from view.

What to do next

To view deleted recalls, in the Recall Items window, set Include completed and deleted recalls.
