Search for patient records, create new patient records, update patient details and delete patient records.
- Patient Database
  The Patient Database lists the records of all active, inactive, and deceased patients.

  - Adding a Single Patient Record
    Use the Patient Details window to add a patient record.

Adding, Editing, and Deleting Patients

You can add and edit patient records to keep your patient database up-to-date.

If your practice uses:

Pracsoft and Clinical, add new patients in Pracsoftonly. Patients added this way are transferred to Clinical automatically.
Clinical only, create new patient records by pressing Ctrl+F2 in the Clinical front screen. Enter the patient's information, including their Medicare/DVA number if available. and validate their IHI Number in the Patient Details window (Ctrl+D from within the patient's record).

Tip:

To maintain the integrity of the patient record:

Merge duplicate patient records .
When a patient dies, mark them as deceased.
