Ending Pregnancies

Before you begin

The following information covers ending a current pregnancy.

Procedure

Select the Obstetric tab in the patient's Clinical Window.
Click End pregnancy to end the patient's current pregnancy. You will be prompted to confirm this action.
Click Yes The Past Obstetric History window appears.
Enter data for your records, as required.
When you have finished recording data about this pregnancy, click Save to confirm.
(Optional) If you name the child, you must also indicate its sex at birth. Then, upon clicking Save you will be prompted as to whether you wish to create a patient record for the child in Clinical.
