Exclusions

Selecting any of these options excludes a patient from the Influenza 'At Risk' search or prompt, even if they fulfil a positive criterion elsewhere on this window.


Exclude Patients with an Allergy to any Influenza Vaccine	Patient with 'INFLUENZA', or an entry matching an influenza drug from MDref, as a recorded allergy.
Exclude Patients with an Allergy of "Egg"	Persons with 'EGG' as a recorded allergy.
Exclude Patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS)	Patients with a history of Guillain-Barré syndrome
Exclude Patients with an Influenza Vaccine this year	Excludes if the patient has had an Influenza Vaccine this calendar year. If the patient is a child <10 or an immunocompromised patient on their starting doses it will allow for 2 doses as appropriate. See Guidelines for more details.
Exclude Patients who Declined an Influenza Vaccine this year	The current calendar year.
Exclude Patients who Declined an Influenza Vaccine last year	The last calendar year (e.g. 01/01/2012 through to 31/12/2012).
Exclude Patients who have chosen to be excluded from Influenza 'at risk'	As determined via the Influenza Vaccination prompt settings.
Exclude Patients from Influenza 'At Risk' prompts outside Influenza Season	Flu season starts 1st February, and ends 31st August .
