Represcribe eScripts

Represcribe an eScript after an electronic token has been issued.

About this task

If a patient does not receive their electronic token via email or SMS, do not represcribe the medication because this does not cancel previous tokens or prescriptions. Instead, verify that the email address or mobile number in the patient details is correct and reissue the token.

Procedure

  1. Cancel the original token.
  2. Remove the old eScript from the patient file by marking it as deleted.
