Searching for Patients in the NCSR Hub Widget
When you launch the NCSR Hub widget from within a patient's clinical record, the system automatically searches for the patient in the NCSR.
When you launch the NCSR Hub widget from within a patient's clinical record, the system automatically searches for the patient in the NCSR. Their screening information is displayed if these identifiers from Clinical match those held in their NCSR record:
- Medical Identifier - either a Medicare number, Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI), or Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) number - Mandatory
- Family Name - Mandatory
- Given Name - Optional
- Sex at Birth - Mandatory
- Date of Birth - Mandatory
If your patient details are an exact match of a participant within the NCSR, you will be able to open their record within the NCSR Hub view.
If the details do not match a participant in the NCSR, then an error will be displayed.
If you believe your patient may be a participant in the NCSR but no record displays, check that the identifiers in the patient record are up to date.
Where a participant has opted out of a screening program, a message will display to notify you of this.
If you require further assistance, call the NCSR Contact Centre on 1800 627 701.
