Patient Management

- Patient Database
  The Patient Database lists the records of all active, inactive, and deceased patients.

Flagging Patients as Permanently Deleted

Mark patients as deleted and store their clinical data.

About this task

Patients flagged as permanently deleted can only be restored via the Patient Reviver utility, a component of the MedicalDirector Maintenance Suite.

Procedure

Either:
- Select Patient > Open from the Clinical main screen.
- Press F2 to open the Select Patient from List window.
- Select Patient > List from the Clinical main screen.
- Press F10 to open the Patient Database.
Select the patient.
Click Delete.
In the Delete Patient window, click Delete Permanently.

Results

The patient record is removed from the list.
