Clinical System Requirements
Minimum requirements for computers on which Clinical is installed.
These system requirements are the minimum requirements. Actual requirements will vary based on your system configuration, installed applications, and usage.
Minimum Hardware Requirements
If your practice hardware does not meet these recommendations, contact your IT provider to discuss suitability.

Follow the recommendations from Microsoft for the minimum requirements for a server running SQL Server: Additional RAM might be required in a TS/Remote Desktop/Citrix environment, depending on application usage and the number of concurrent user sessions. A minimum of 300MB extra per session is recommended. Consult your system administrator. |

| Hard Disk | MedicalDirector software occupies approximately 7GB hard disk space
with a SQL 2022 Express instance, excluding prerequisites or
database/document growth. The actual space required is determined by your activities, with a recommended minimum of 320-500 GB. For advice, consult a suitably qualified professional or call Customer Support. |

| Backup and Disaster Recovery | All businesses that have mission-critical data should have a disaster
recovery plan in place, including a full backup-and-restore facility for at
least the server, but preferably covering all computers that perform
important functions or store practice data. While this affects initial setup
costs, it provides comprehensive coverage in the event of a failure. Consult
