Blood Pressure

Before you begin

Ctrl + Alt + B

Tools > Tool Boxxref> > Blood Pressure (via the Clinical Window)

Procedure

From within the Clinical Window, select Tools > Tool Box > Blood Pressure. The Blood Pressure tab appears.

Either:

Click Device to use a device to record values, or

Click Manual to enter values manually.


Device	Device-mode, which allows you to take readings via a blood pressure monitor.
Manual	Manual-mode, which allows you to enter readings manually.
Data	Display the patient's record as a list of data.
Graph	Display the patient's record as a graph.
Right arm	Indicate at which location on your patient the reading was taken.
Regular	Indicate the type of rhythm that was recorded for each of the Sitting, Standing, and Lying readings.
Clear	Clears any data you enter into the Current Measurements section of the window.
Record	Click to take a recording via a blood pressure monitor. This button is only available once the Device button has been clicked.
Print	Prints the patient's blood pressure data. If you have filtered the data, this will be reflected in the printout.
Reference	Not applicable to blood pressure.
Exit	Not applicable to blood pressure.
View	Not applicable to blood pressure.
Save	Save data to the patient's record.

Entries can be deleted by selecting them and then pressing the Delete key on your keyboard.
