- Actions
  An action is a record of something that was done or is to be done for a patient.

Investigations

Manage pathology, cytology, and medical imaging requests and results.

Imported or scanned files, letters, or other documents can be added to Clinical via Correspondence.

Most investigation tests can be ordered via Pathology or the optional Using Smart Connect Pathology eRequests widget. If using Pathology, clinicians can create a list of their favourite 10 tests or groupings of tests.
All ordered tests are automatically added to the Outstanding Request list. The Outstanding Request list can be used to track the return of test results, potentially preventing serious issues if tests are not completed or if labs lose samples.
Test orders can be printed on supplied stationary or plain paper. For selected labs, orders can be sent electronically.
