ePrescribing Configuration
ePrescribing functionality is installed automatically with Clinical, and is activated by default, provided MD Exchange is enabled.

Practitioner Configuration for ePrescribing

Enable ePrescribing for a practitioner.

About this task

ePrescribing is enabled by default. The practitioner must have registered for MDExchange.

You can also enable and disable ePrescribing by editing the user settings.

Procedure

From the Clinical front screen, select User > Setup Users.
In the User Database window, locate and double-click the record of the practitioner who you want to enable ePrescribing for.
In the Edit Doctor Details window, unset Disable ePrescribing for this Practitioner.
To complete registration, the practitioner should log out of Clinical and log in again.
