Set Up Smart Connect Pathology eRequests

Set up to send pathology and cytology requests electronically with Smart Connect Pathology eRequests.

Procedure

Widget

Install the Smart Connect Pathology eRequests widget.

Set Investigations Options

Click Tools > Options > Investigations.
Set Default to Smart Connect service for ordering all pathology/cytology tests.
Click Save.
Close Clinical.
Open Clinical again.

Setup Provider Requests

Configure Clinical with the correct settings for the laboratories you correspond with. Use the full laboratory name or the short-form alias in preference to the other alias forms. See Configuring Advanced Pathology Settings for detailed information.
