Active Ingredient Prescribing (AIP)

Prescriptions created in MedicalDirector Clinical meet the requirements of the Active Ingredient Prescribing legislation (2019).

This legislation requires the inclusion of active ingredients on all RPBS and PBS prescriptions and allows for the identification of a brand if the prescriber deems this to be clinically appropriate for the treatment of their patient.
