Uploading Documents to the Patient's My Health Record

Upload CDA documents to the patient's My Health Record.

About this task

Only CDA documents can be uploaded to the patient's My Health Record. CDA documents can be uploaded immediately after they are created in the Letter Writer's e-Health tab or at a later time.

Procedure

  1. Open the patient record.
  2. Within the patient record, in the Correspondence, Documents, Results or Letters tabs, locate the CDA document you want to upload.
  3. Click . Clinical displays a preview of the document.
  4. If the document is correct, in the Preview window, click Send. Clinical uploads the document and displays a message when the upload is complete.
  5. Click OK.

Results

The document is uploaded to the patient's My Health Record.

In Clinical, in the patient's record Correspondence tab, the My Health Record Status and My Health Record Activity Date show the document's My Health Record status.
