Importing Certificates from your iKey Token
Before you begin
The PKI Certificate Manager window appears once you click the Finish button when setting up a Medicare Australia Certificate Store.
To import certificates from your iKey token:
Procedure
- Insert your iKey in the USB port of your computer.

Select Start > Control Panel > PKI Certificate Manager. The PKI Certificate Manager window appears.
Certificates is displayed by default in the View field.
- Select the Tokens from the drop-down list in the View field.
- Select the token to import by clicking the number in the Serial# field. This also enables the Tools drop-down list on the right of the window.

Select Register Certificates from the Tools drop-down list. The Token Registration Wizard window appears.

Enter the Store Password and click the Next button. The Enter Token Passphrase window appears.

Enter your token password (this is supplied with the iKey Driver Software kit) and click the Next button. The Certificates that will be Registered window is displayed.

Select the encryption certificate used by Clinical, this is identified by the certificate with the padlock icon and click the Finish button. You are returned to the PKI Certificate Manager window.
- The signing certificate is identified by the pen icon.
Each certificate must be selected individually.
- The signing certificate is identified by the pen icon.
- Select Certificates from the drop-down list in the View field.

Select the Token Resident tab. The imported certificates are displayed.
