- Logging On and Logging Off
  You are prompted to log on automatically when you start MedicalDirector Clinical.
  - Before You Begin Using Clinical
    Important information about your use of Clinical.
  - Logging in for the First Time
    When you log in for the first time, you must select the database you want to use and provide details for at least one practitioner.
  - Logging On
    Logging on is a very important process, especially when operating in a multi-user environment.
  - Logging Off
    Log off if you intend to leave Clinical unattended.
- Starting Clinical
  Start Clinical as you would any other Microsoft Windows application.
- Communications
  Record communications with patients, practices and with other medical professionals or healthcare providers in MedicalDirector Clinical.
- Clinical Window
  Record clinical information in the Clinical window.
- Visit Timer
  The Visit Timer is activated automatically when you open a patient's record.
- Security
  MedicalDirector Clinical protects users data, clinical notes and other sensitive information by storing it in an encrypted format.
