Adding your Licence Details
After installing Clinical, or if you renew your Service-Level Agreement (SLA) with MedicalDirector, enter your licence details.
Expired Licences
If your MedicalDirector Clinical licence subscription lapses, your MedicalDirector Clinical database goes into read-only mode.

Expired Licences

If your MedicalDirector Clinical licence subscription lapses, your MedicalDirector Clinical database goes into read-only mode.

Using the read-only database, you can access a patient's data for export to their new health service.

In read-only mode, the following features are still available:

Open patient files to view progress notes, letters, results.
Print documents and results from a patient's file.
Search MedicalDirector Clinical for statistics or outstanding recalls.
Export a patient's file to send to another clinic using the Maintenance > Import/Export utility. For more information, see Exporting MedicalDirector Data.
Export demographic information to be used for emailing lists. For more information, see Exporting Demographic Data.

You will not be able to:

Create new patients.
Create patient summaries.
Prescribe new prescriptions or add new progress notes.
Create new recalls.
Scan or import new documents or results into MedicalDirector.
