Change a Computer's Role

Convert a computer to a different role.

To convert a server or workstation computer to a different Clinical/Pracsoft role:

Uninstall Clinical/Pracsoft, including the extra steps to do a full cleanout.
Reinstall Clinical/Pracsoft with a different role.

Note:

During installation, the Enable Advanced Options window includes a Change Role option. This option should be used with caution and only when advised by your systems administrator or MedicalDirector Customer Support.

You cannot uninstall Clinical/Pracsoft from a computer whose current role is MedicalDirector Mobility.

You might need to uninstall and re-install other third-party software such as that used for downloading results. If required, contact your System Administrator.
