Patient Management

Reactivating Inactive Patients

Procedure

Either:

Select Patient > Open from the Clinical main screen, or press F2 to open the Select Patient from List window, and tick the Include Inactive Patients check box. Search for and open the patient record in question. Opening the patient record automatically flags the record as 'active', or
Select Patient > List from the Clinical main screen, or press F10 to open the Patient Database. Using the drop-down menu at the top of the Patient Database window, select Inactive Patients. Locate and highlight the patient in question and click Retrieve Note that the this button is only available when viewing Inactive Patients.

It is also possible to flag multiple patients as inactive or active via the Inactive/Active Patient Wizard, which is part of the MedicalDirector Maintenance suite.
