Managing Practitioner and User Records
Each user must be defined in MedicalDirector Clinical's user database.
User Database
The User Database is where practitioners and users can be added, edited and deleted, and access levels and restrictions can be defined as appropriate.
Adding, Editing, and Deleting Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners
Practitioner records and nurse practitioners records have more details than non-clinical user records.

Administration

Adding, Editing, and Deleting Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners

Practitioner records and nurse practitioners records have more details than non-clinical user records.

If you want to create a new practitioner or nurse practitioner record, and you run MedicalDirector Pracsoft in conjunction with Clinical, you must create the practitioner record in Pracsoft first to ensure the new practitioner record has a user ID. Then, when you then log into Clinical, the practitioner record will be available. The only exception to this rule is for Allied Health. In this instance, they need to be added to Clinical first as a user, not a practitioner.
