Managing Practitioner and User Records
Each user must be defined in MedicalDirector Clinical's user database.
User Database
The User Database is where practitioners and users can be added, edited and deleted, and access levels and restrictions can be defined as appropriate.
Adding, Editing, and Deleting Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners
Practitioner records and nurse practitioners records have more details than non-clinical user records.
Deleting Practitioner Records
Practitioner records can't be deleted.
Inactivating Practitioner Records
Inactivate practitioner records instead of deleting them.

Administration
Set up Clinical, manage configuration, user records, updates, back ups and other maintenance.
- Installing, Modifying, or Uninstalling Clinical/
  Install Clinical/ and its related components with the Installation Wizard.

About this task

Inactivating a practitioner from the User Database does not delete their record, their history of using Clinical, or any patient data they recorded.

Procedure

In the User Database, select the practitioner you want to inactivate.
Click Make Inactive > Yes.

Results

The practitioner is inactivated.
