MyMedicare PRODA

Enter your MyMedicare security certificate and register an authentication device to prepare for access to MyMedicare web services.

Before you begin

Use MyMedicare PRODA to set up your authentication device in preparation for MyMedicare. Access to MyMedicare will be added to Clinical and Pracsoft in a future release. Your PRODA RA (Organisation) code, device name, and activation code are provided by Services Australia in your PRODA setup.

Procedure

Locate and double-click the MedicalDirector Maintenance icon on your desktop.
In the MedicalDirector Maintenance window, select Database Tasks > Common > MyMedicare PRODA.
In the MyMedicare PRODA Details window, enter the PRODA RA (Organisation) and Device Name.
Click Save.
Enter the Activation Code.
Click Activate.
If you want the device to display warning messages when the registration expiry date approaches, set Notify the user for device expiry. The device displays messages:
- From one month before its expiry date.
- Every time a user logs in to Clinical or Pracsoft with the authorised device.
Click Close.
